Protoys was established in 1994 to supply toys and services to the corporate and club sectors. Over the years, due to client demand, we expanded our services to include showbags, toy raffles and promotional items. In recent years Protoys acquired the Club Toys business in Brisbane expanding our corporate services into QLD. Today we remain Australia's premier social club supplier for children's Christmas parties and the like.
Over the past 5 years Protoys further expanded by establishing a general wholesale division. We offer retailers a unique, ever-changing range of branded toy close outs and retail services such as catalogues and point-of-sale collateral. Hundreds of Australian retailers have come to use our products due to their heavily reduced prices, discounted RRPs, exceptionally high margin, rapid sell through and generation of excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
In Oct 2008 Protoys completed the acquisition of Jolly KidZ. Jolly KidZ is a brand of quality children's furniture and nursery equipment boasting a range of children's tables and chairs, playpens and mats, high chairs, easels and more. This diversification into the development of our own proprietary brand sets the foundation for further growth into the future, earning ourselves the reputation as one of Australia’s fastest growing toy and nursery industry suppliers.
From our humble beginnings, our team now comprises 18 full-time people, we operate from a new state-of-the-art 5000 square metre distribution centre in Sydney, we have full offices and showroom on-site and have recently established 2 quality control and product development offices in China.
